Behind the Scenes with Ken Jennings: Hair, Makeup & Wardrobe by Isaac Meyers for Community Transit
Last fall, I had the incredible opportunity to work with Ken Jennings—the iconic host of Jeopardy! and the game show’s all-time greatest champion—on a new commercial campaign for Community Transit in Snohomish County.
We filmed on location in Edmonds, Washington, surrounded by early morning fog, rolling buses, and a fast-moving crew. From the first call time to the final take, the production was smooth, energized, and professional—exactly the kind of environment I love creating in.
Ken was sharp, gracious, and focused. I was responsible for his complete on-camera look: hair, makeup, and wardrobe styling. The goal was to keep his image polished yet natural, approachable yet media-ready. My kit included HD-safe products for long shoot days, anti-shine techniques for high-res lenses, and layering pieces that worked on and off camera.
